ROLE SUMMARY:

The Sports Supervisor plays a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and student wellbeing through structured sports programmes and supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise students during sports activities, recess, and physical education support sessions
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of sports programmes and training sessions
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition
  • Ensure safe use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities
  • Monitor student participation and encourage engagement in physical activities
  • Support PE teachers and coaches during classes and events
  • Organise and assist in school sports events, tournaments, and competitions
  • Identify and report any safety risks or incidents
  • Maintain discipline and positive behaviour during activities
  • Contribute to the development of a strong school sports culture

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Background in sports, physical education, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage groups in active environments
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to student safety and wellbeing
