ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education is seeking to appoint a Operations & Growth Director – Americas to join our Americas Executive Team. Based in Mexico City and reporting directly to the CEO, North America, this is one of the most strategic leadership opportunities within the region.

Supporting Inspired's portfolio of premium schools across the Americas, this role will lead operational excellence, commercial growth, and the successful integration of newly acquired schools while partnering closely with Heads of School and regional leadership teams. The Director will play a critical role in accelerating enrolment growth, improving operational performance, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving long-term value creation across one of Inspired's fastest-growing regions.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished executive who thrives in complex, multi-site organisations and is passionate about leading transformation, driving commercial performance, and delivering operational excellence at scale.

This role offers exceptional exposure across an international portfolio of schools and has been designed as a strategic succession opportunity, with the potential to evolve into broader regional executive leadership responsibilities as the business continues to grow through acquisitions and organic expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Heads of School to accelerate enrolment growth and strengthen commercial performance across the Americas region.
  • Identify opportunities to improve admissions conversion, student retention, school capacity utilisation, and overall business performance.
  • Develop and execute regional growth initiatives, including new programmes, campus expansion opportunities, and ancillary revenue strategies.
  • Drive operational excellence across schools by improving efficiency, parent experience, and service delivery across key operational functions.
  • Lead initiatives to optimise transportation, catering, uniforms, facilities, procurement, extracurricular programmes, and other support services.
  • Partner with school leadership teams to improve profitability through operational efficiencies and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead the integration of newly acquired schools, ensuring successful adoption of Inspired's operating model, standards, and culture.
  • Coordinate cross-functional integration projects across Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, Education, Operations, Property, and Admissions.
  • Analyse regional performance metrics and implement strategic initiatives that strengthen operational consistency, scalability, and long-term growth.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and execution excellence across the region.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Significant senior leadership experience within a complex, multi-site organisation operating across multiple locations or countries.
  • A proven track record of driving commercial growth, operational improvement, and business transformation at regional or national level.
  • Experience leading acquisitions, post-merger integration, or large-scale organisational change initiatives.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including responsibility for P&L performance, EBITDA growth, and value creation.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Outstanding analytical, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • High levels of resilience, adaptability, and energy, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with executive leaders, Heads of School, and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively throughout the Americas to support schools and regional initiatives.
  • Experience within education is welcome but not essential. We encourage applications from leaders with backgrounds in hospitality, healthcare, retail, aviation, logistics, consumer services, private equity portfolio companies, or other high-growth multi-site organisations.
