ROLE SUMMARY:

AIM Chipinque, part of the globally recognised Inspired Education Group, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Coach to join its dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through music, fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

The Music Coach will play a key role in supporting students’ musical growth through engaging sessions, performances, and collaborative projects, contributing to a vibrant school community.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and leadership to integrate music into the broader educational experience, while nurturing students’ individual talents and encouraging participation across all levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music sessions for students across different age groups.
  • Support the development of students’ musical skills, including rhythm, melody, and performance.
  • Lead individual and small group coaching sessions.
  • Prepare students for school performances, concerts, and events.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating music-related activities and productions.
  • Encourage student participation and confidence in musical expression.
  • Support classroom teachers in integrating music into the curriculum where appropriate.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on student progress and development.
  • Maintain and organise musical instruments and resources.
  • Contribute to the wider extracurricular and cultural life of the school.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Strong musical knowledge and proficiency in at least one instrument or voice.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or coaching setting.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and passion for music and performing arts.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a student-centred approach.
  • Confidence in leading group sessions and performances.
  • Commitment to student development and wellbeing.
