KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the lead teacher in delivering engaging and effective English lessons.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, classroom resources, and activities.
Provide individual and small group support to students to reinforce learning.
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Monitor student participation and behaviour, supporting classroom management strategies.
Assist with the assessment process, including tracking student progress and providing feedback.
Support students with varying levels of English proficiency.
Supervise students during class, breaks, and school activities as required.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development and wellbeing.
Ensure adherence to safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Languages, or a related field (or currently studying towards one).
Strong command of English (required); bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable).
Basic understanding of teaching and learning principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, proactive, and supportive approach to working with students.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
