Early Years Educator / PN2 teacher

We are seeking a passionate, caring, and dedicated Pre-Nursery Homeroom Teacher to join our Early Years team in campus Chipinque. This role is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where our youngest learners develop the confidence, curiosity, independence, and foundational skills that will support their lifelong learning journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the AIM Early Years curriculum and educational philosophy.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Foster curiosity, creativity, communication, and independence through play-based and hands-on learning experiences.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents and school leadership.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and developmental stages of each child.
• Build positive relationships with students and families, maintaining open, proactive, and effective communication.
• Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, specialist teachers, and the wider Early Years team to provide a consistent and enriching educational experience.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging within the classroom community.
• Prepare an engaging learning environment that reflects children's interests, celebrates their achievements, and encourages exploration.
• Participate actively in school events, parent conferences, professional development opportunities, and the wider life of the school.
• Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies and procedures.
• Contribute positively to the collaborative culture and values of AIM and Inspired Education.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching children aged 2–4 years in an Early Years or Pre-Nursery setting.
• Experience teaching within an American or international school environment is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for working within a diverse international school community.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and providing an outstanding educational experience for every child.
