KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver engaging EAL lessons that develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Assess students’ English proficiency levels and design individualized or small-group learning plans.
  • Provide in-class support, co-teaching, or withdrawal sessions to ensure students can fully participate in the mainstream curriculum.
  • Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers to adapt materials and differentiate instruction.
  • Monitor, track, and report on student progress, maintaining clear communication with teachers, parents, and the academic team.
  • Support the development of a welcoming, inclusive environment where multilingualism is valued.
  • Contribute to school life and extracurricular activities in alignment with AIM’s values and community spirit.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field.
  • A recognized EAL/ESL teaching certification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, DELTA) preferred.
  • Proven experience teaching English as an additional/second language, ideally in an international or bilingual school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of language acquisition and strategies to support multilingual learners.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
