ROLE SUMMARY:
The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is a leading private international school in Mexico, offering a high-quality bilingual education to students aged 2 to 18 across three campuses. At AIM Campus Valle, we serve students from Preschool to Grade 9, delivering a U.S.-accredited curriculum alongside programmes in academics, arts, sports, and technology within a modern, well-equipped environment. The Care and Learn Facilitator supports students beyond the classroom by creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment during extended day or care programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise students during after-school and extended care programmes
- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities (academic, creative, recreational)
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all students at all times
- Support students with homework and reinforce learning concepts
- Promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions
- Manage daily routines, transitions, and attendance tracking
- Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
- Provide feedback on student participation and behaviour
- Maintain an organised, clean, and safe environment
- Support school events and extracurricular initiatives when required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patient, responsible, and nurturing approach
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively
- Proactive and organised with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
- Advanced English proficiency (required)
