ROLE SUMMARY:
The International School of Milan (ISM) is seeking a Photographer, Videographer & Social Content Creator to capture, produce and curate high-quality visual content that documents and promotes the ISM Summer Camp experience. The place of work is ISM in Baranzate, and the contract period runs from Thursday 26 June to Saturday 26 July 2025.
Working closely with the Camp Director and the Marketing & Communications team, the post-holder will create daily content for families and curated promotional assets for digital channels, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding, privacy and consent policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Photograph and film daily camp activities (on and off campus), workshops, excursions, free-time moments and special events.
- Collaborate with the Camp Director, Marketing team and camp staff to plan content priorities and key storytelling moments.
- Create daily photo slideshows and short video reels with brief narrative captions for parents via the camp communication platform.
- Produce a highlight video capturing the best moments of each camp session for the final exhibition.
- Create curated photo selections and short-form promotional video content for use on social media, the camp website and other channels during camp.
- Edit and enhance photo/video content using tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro to optimise for digital use.
- Organise, label and maintain a structured digital archive of content for future marketing and communication needs.
- Ensure full compliance with image-use consent, safeguarding and media policies when capturing and sharing student content.
- Attend coordination meetings with the Camp Director and Marketing team and work flexibly across the camp schedule (hours may be scheduled between 08:30 and 21:30)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Proven experience in photography, videography and digital/social content creation, supported by a portfolio demonstrating technical skill and storytelling.
- Experience creating short-form social content such as reels, stories and short videos.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
- Strong visual sensitivity and ability to adapt content style for different audiences and platforms.
- Ability to work professionally in an educational environment with minors, including understanding consent, privacy and safeguarding requirements.
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, with a reliable and flexible approach in a dynamic camp environment.
- English language level: Advanced/Proficiency (C1–C2).
- Valid permission to work in Italy/EU and a valid criminal record certificate provided prior to camp.
- A portfolio (or sample work) and a link to a social media account/website showcasing your content, submitted as part of your application.
