ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Primary Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus. The successful candidate will motivate students to think critically, act responsibly, and develop a lifelong love of learning. You will play a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary education through high-quality teaching and a supportive learning environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Model and promote the St. Louis School Mission, Values and Positive Behaviour Policy to foster a respectful, inclusive learning culture.
  • Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and the ethos of the Inspired Education Group.
  • Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor progress, inform planning and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Work closely with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity, progression and consistency in teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional learning, contribute to curriculum development and support whole-school improvement initiatives.
  • Lead or assist with clubs, events, or school projects that enrich the wider learning experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A university degree in Education or a related subject, with a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Primary Years.
  • Strong understanding of literacy, numeracy, and cross-curricular learning at Key Stage 2.
  • Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive progress.
  • Enthusiastic, reflective and passionate about inspiring independent, confident learners.
  • Collaborative, innovative and eager to contribute to a thriving international school community.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred.
