ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Early Years teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be teaching within an inspired environment, focusing on nurturing creativity, independence, and a love for learning in young children.

 

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in early childhood education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to contribute positively to the school community. There may be opportunities for Middle Leadership positions for suitable candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Community Engagement: Support a positive school culture by implementing the St. Louis School’s Positive Behaviour Policy and pastoral initiatives, aligned with the school's Mission and Values.
  • Curriculum Planning: Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons for Early Years students, using a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach.
  • Enrichment Activities: Lead school trips, assemblies, and other initiatives to enrich the student experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure assessment data is used effectively to support student progress.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in staff training and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
  • Extra-Curricular Involvement: Offer an extra-curricular activity that enhances the current portfolio of student opportunities.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A university degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching 3-5-year-olds, ideally within a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate about early childhood education, and able to inspire young learners.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and data tracking to support student progress.
  • A commitment to personalised learning in an inclusive environment.
  • A long-term commitment to the school and community.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Must hold an EU passport or have a valid visa to work in Italy.
