ROLE SUMMARY:
Kiddy English is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team in August 2026.
We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to high standards, values child-centred learning, and is excited to contribute to an international school community.
As an Early Years Teacher, you will work within a supportive and innovative environment, delivering engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the British National Curriculum. You will play a key role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment, supporting children aged 2–6 through play-based learning and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Foster a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYFS and the British National Curriculum
- Support the development of children aged 2–6 across all areas of learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues as a co-constructor of learning
- Contribute to planning, assessment and the ongoing development of the Early Years provision
- Promote children’s social, emotional and academic development
- Engage positively in the wider life of the school and school community
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential
- BA in Early Childhood Education and Care, B.Ed in Early Years Education, or B.Ed in Primary Education with a clear Early Years specialisation (ages 3–11), or a relevant undergraduate degree plus PGCE/PGDE
- Experience working with children aged 2–6
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills
- A strong understanding of child-centred and play-based learning
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (or similar) and/or the British National Curriculum
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching
- Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)

- Experience in an international or multilingual school setting
- A passion for creativity, inquiry and experiential learning
- Energy, flexibility and a positive mindset
