Business Teacher

ROLE SUMMARY:

St. Louis School Archinto is seeking an experienced and well-qualified Business Teacher to teach within the IB Diploma Programme (DP) on a part-time basis from August 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and concept-driven IB Business Management lessons, ensuring excellent preparation for internal and external assessments. This role requires strong subject knowledge, experience with IB assessment criteria, and the ability to inspire academically ambitious students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach IB Diploma Programme Business Management
• Plan and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB philosophy
• Prepare students effectively for Internal Assessments and external examinations
• Provide clear, timely and constructive feedback to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of achievement and assessment data
• Contribute to collaborative departmental planning and moderation
• Uphold high standards of academic integrity and classroom practice
• Engage positively with parents and the wider school community
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Essential

• A degree in Business, Economics or a related field
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Business at upper secondary level
• Strong understanding of IB Diploma Programme assessment requirements
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)

Desirable

• Experience teaching IB DP Business Management
• Experience in an international school environment
• Ability to contribute to related subjects such as Economics (if required)
• Italian language skills (advantageous but not essential)
