ROLE SUMMARY:

A leading British international school in Madrid is seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, with a special focus on French and German. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach French and German across KS3–KS5 (IGCSE / A Level or equivalent)
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support mixed-ability learners
Prepare pupils for external examinations and track academic progress
Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
Support pupils’ linguistic, cultural and global awareness
Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in French, German or a related subject, with QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching French and German in a British or international curriculum
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Commitment to pastoral care, collaboration and professional development
