ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School, Soto de Viñuelas is seeking a committed and adaptable Secondary Cover Teacher on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom cover across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can quickly engage students and maintain high standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons to secondary students across different year groups.

Maintain a positive, purposeful and well-managed classroom environment.

Follow school policies, procedures and behaviour expectations.

Ensure student safety and wellbeing at all times.

Provide feedback to subject teachers on student engagement and progress.

Support the school’s ethos and contribute to a professional learning environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent teaching qualification).

Experience working with secondary-aged students.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Flexibility and confidence covering a range of subjects.

Eligibility to work in Spain and willingness to undertake safeguarding checks.
