ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, a leading British international and IB school in Madrid, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Induction Primary Teacher to join our Primary team on a full-time, immediate-start basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career teacher or a practitioner seeking high-quality induction support within a well-established and supportive school environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.

Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback and reporting.

Work collaboratively with year-group teams and contribute to wider school life.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Engage in professional development as part of the school’s induction and mentoring programme.

Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Uphold the school’s values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Holds a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Has experience working with primary-aged pupils (placement or post-qualification).

Demonstrates strong classroom management and a reflective, growth-oriented approach to teaching.

Shows enthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to child-centred learning.

Is eager to learn and develop professionally within a structured induction environment.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in an international or British curriculum school is advantageous but not essential.
