ROLE SUMMARY:

The Wingate School (TWS) is an accredited Cambridge International School and an IB World School in Mexico City that offers an educational programme focussed on academic excellence, creativity and human formation. TWS teaches the International Early Years Curriculum in Kindergarten, the International Primary Curriculum, and the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum. The school is a member of the Latin American Heads Conference, was awarded the Foundation Level of British Council’s International School Award and was recently named "One of the 10 best international schools in Latin America" by The Knowledge Review.

The Wingate School is seeking a qualified and compassionate Paramedic to provide on-site emergency care and health support during after-school hours. The successful candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff participating in extracurricular activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide first aid and emergency medical care as needed during after-school activities.
Assess injuries and illnesses, administer treatment, and coordinate further care or emergency services if required.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and treatments provided.
Ensure first aid supplies and equipment are stocked and ready for use.
Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and emergency services as needed.
Promote health and safety awareness within the school community.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A valid Paramedic certification/license.
Proven experience in emergency response or medical assistance roles.
Availability to work on-site (school is located near Interlomas) Monday through Thursday from 3:20 PM to 5:20 PM.
Strong communication skills and a calm, reassuring demeanor.
Ability to work independently and respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
Basic proficiency in English is preferred.
