ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Online Schools, part of the Inspired Education group, is a transformative group of online schools, including King’s InterHigh, the leading British Curriculum Online School with over 6,000 students globally. King's InterHigh has been at the forefront of online education, providing a complete online via our state-of-the-art learning portal and offering an excellent education without borders.  

 

As a part of our mission to bring excellence in education to more students in the United States, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Admissions to join our team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in the successful establishment and ongoing operations of our UK school. 

 

The Head of Administration will be responsible for providing comprehensive operational support to expand Inspired Online Schools into the United States. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operations, administration, and process and budget management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

 

This hybrid position is based in the Washington, DC metro area, and in addition to the flexibility of remote work, the Head of Administration will be expected to come to our office several days a week to engage directly with colleagues and foster strong professional relationships.  This position will also work closely with our finance, operations, IT, and HR teams globally.

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 USD per annum. We offer a comprehensive package that includes a variety of medical and dental plans, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and a robust suite of personal well-being benefits. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational plans to ensure the smooth and timely launch of the US expansion. 
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels among staff, faculty, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations. 
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. 
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of administrative staff. 
  • Design and optimize processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Implement and monitor project management tools and to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to adapt to the evolving needs of the school. 
  • Manage the school’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial sustainability. 
  • Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary. 
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial forecasts and reports. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative matters with external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies. 
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, students, and the community to support the school’s mission and goals. 
  • Represent the school at meetings, conferences, and events as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, administration, or a related field, preferably within an educational setting. 
  • Demonstrated experience in process and budget management. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Ability to travel within the US and abroad.
