ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College Soto de Viñuelas is seeking a committed and dynamic Economics Teacher to join our team from September on a long-term temporary basis (duración de varios meses). The successful candidate will teach Economics across GCSE, A Level, and IB programmes within a high-achieving, international school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach Economics across GCSE, A Level, and IB Diploma Programme classes
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with curriculum requirements
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
Provide constructive feedback to support student achievement and progress
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in Economics or a closely related subject
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent international certification)
Experience teaching GCSE, A Level, and/or IB Economics (minimum one or more of these essential)
Strong understanding of international curricula and assessment frameworks
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
High level of English proficiency (spoken and written); additional languages (especially Spanish) are an advantage
