ROLE SUMMARY:

 

This internship opportunity is available across Inspired schools in Madrid, Barcelona, Toledo, Alicante, Murcia and Cádiz. 

 

Internship Periods

 

  • Full academic year: September – June (preferred)

  • Mid-year intakes: January – June or March/April – June

  • Duration: 9, 6 or 3 months

 

Location

Working Regime

 

Full-time, Monday to Friday

 

Financial Conditions

 

  • €300-400 net per month

  • Free school lunches

  • Accommodation may be provided in some schools (e.g. Sotogrande in Cádiz, San Patricio Toledo)

 

About the Role

 

As a Teaching Assistant Intern, you will support teachers in the day-to-day running of the classroom and wider school life. This internship offers hands-on experience in an international education environment and is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in education.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supporting teachers during lessons to ensure smooth classroom operation

  • Assisting pupils individually or in small groups

  • Promoting positive behaviour, values, and inclusion

  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

  • Helping with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Supervising pupils during breaks, trips, and school events when required

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • University studies related to Education, Teaching, Psychology, Sport, or similar fields

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (strong command of one language required; both preferred)

  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn

  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic school environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

Eligibility

 

  • A formal internship agreement must be in place between Inspired and the candidate’s university or educational institution

  • Studies must be related to the internship
