The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our Lower School team. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Primary, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring excellent academic outcomes, and providing outstanding pastoral care.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.

  • Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ progress, producing reports and grades in accordance with school policies.

  • Provide a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.

  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding pupil progress and development.

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the varied needs of students.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral support.

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, following school policies and procedures.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

  • At least 2 years’ teaching experience in British National Curriculum schools (UK or international).

  • Evidence of outstanding teaching and a track record of achieving strong academic results.

  • Strong understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.

  • Proficiency in IT and digital tools to enhance learning and reporting.

  • Experience of working with pupils of diverse learning, social, and emotional needs.
