ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Media Teacher with an interest in also teaching English Language.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who would like to join our school located in the beautiful city of Madrid.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU and be fluent in English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To act as a role model for teaching and learning,
To make a distinctive contribution to raising standards across the school
To continue to develop own expertise in their subject and the art of teaching
Provide a sustained and consistent collaborative contribution to the wider work of the school, either internally or outside the school
Proactively seek, create and lead on opportunities that have a demonstrably positive impact on creating an outstanding learning environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Essential:

Experience of teaching A Level and GCSE Media
Willingness to teach IB Film
Experience of teaching KS3 English in the British Curriculum

Desirable:

Experience of IGCSE English Language or Literature
Ability to teach EAL
