ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Kensington School, a prestigious international school in Madrid with over 50 years of academic excellence, is seeking a dynamic, part-time Teacher of Maths to join our outstanding Mathematics Department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 (IGCSE and IB).

  • Support students’ academic progress and personal development.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives.

  • Take part in the wider school life, including form tutor responsibilities and communication with families.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and a positive learning environment.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree.

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including IGCSE and IB (or willingness to learn).

  • Strong understanding of the English National Curriculum and international qualifications.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

  • A collaborative approach and commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • High expectations for all students and a passion for inspiring learners.

  • Fluency in English (native or near-native level).
