We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of French to join our dedicated staff team with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to teach across Key Stages 3–5, including iGCSE, IB, and 2º de Bachillerato. Native French speakers with UK training are especially encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated French curriculum that inspires and challenges students.

Teaching across KS3 to KS5, with a focus on preparing students for external examinations such as iGCSE and IB French.

Acting as a form tutor and supporting the academic and personal development of students.

Participating in curriculum development, lesson planning, and resource creation.

Collaborating with colleagues on assessment strategies and student progress tracking.

Maintaining open communication with students, families, and staff to foster a strong school community.

Engaging in whole-school initiatives, staff training, and performance management processes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) and a degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience teaching French at secondary level (experience with iGCSE, IB or 2º de Bachillerato preferred).
- Native-level fluency in French; additional English fluency is essential.
- A deep understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Confidence in using ICT to support and enhance learning.
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and high standards for all learners.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach to working in a team.
- Passion for language learning and inspiring students to achieve their potential
