ROLE SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive Senior HR Generalist to join our Central Services team at our headquarters in Madrid.
This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the HR function of a fast-paced, international organisation that places people at the heart of everything it does. This is a temporary position, with the potential to be extended or made permanent depending on business needs.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of HR services across Inspired's corporate and school-facing teams. The successful candidate will be confident managing a broad generalist remit, with strong experience in both administration and employee relations, as well as recruitment and onboarding processes.
This is a hands-on role suited to a highly organised professional with a collaborative mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a strong service orientation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as a strategic HR partner to local school and corporate teams, aligning HR support with organisational goals.

Manage employee relations matters and ensure compliance with Spanish labour law and GDPR.

Lead recruitment and onboarding processes in coordination with the Talent Acquisition team.

Support performance reviews, staff development, and internal mobility initiatives.

Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and compensation processes.

Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and prepare regular HR reports.

Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, DEI, and Inspired group values.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

University Degree in HR, Labour Relations, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an international or multi-site environment.

Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is essential.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.

Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Results-oriented, customer-focused, and proactive in approach.
