ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College Soto de Viñuelas is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join our successful Science Department.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach Chemistry at GCSE level and Key Stage 3 Science. However, we would also welcome applications from outstanding Science teachers who can teach Key Stage 3 Science and one or more Key Stage 4 Science subjects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Chemistry at GCSE level (preferred) and Key Stage 3 Science.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students and promote academic achievement.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school expectations.
- Contribute to the wider life of the Science Department and the school community.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and success.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young learners.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
