ROLE SUMMARY:

 

El Colegio Británico is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher to teach students across Key Stage 3 and 4. This temporary role will involve delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students’ learning, and contributing to the school’s vibrant academic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons for secondary students.

  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

  • Support students’ personal and academic development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

  • Contribute to school life through extracurricular activities or events.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) with experience in secondary education.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.

  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school life.
