ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas is seeking to appoint an inspiring and knowledgeable Business Studies & Economics Teacher to join our successful secondary team. The role will involve teaching across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on A Level provision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Business Studies and/or Economics across Secondary and A Level.

Prepare students effectively for public examinations (A Levels and/or GCSE).

Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment within the department.

Monitor student progress and provide high-quality feedback to support achievement.

Participate fully in the wider life of the school community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A relevant degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, with excellent academic credentials and, ideally, evidence of post-graduate study.

Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level (A Level experience desirable).

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence.

The ability to inspire, challenge and support students of varying abilities.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
