ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, is the flagship school of the King’s Group — a British international school with over 50 years of excellence in education. Located just outside Madrid, we offer a forward-thinking, international learning environment grounded in the UK National Curriculum.
We are currently seeking a temporary Science Teacher to join our Secondary School team, delivering lessons across Key Stages 3–5. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and well-resourced department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Science across the Secondary age range (11–18), including IGCSE and potentially IB or A Level.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum and school guidelines.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing.
- Support school activities, events, and enrichment opportunities where possible
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A degree in Science or a related subject and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).

Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 4 (IGCSE) is required.

A flexible, collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for science education.

(Desirable) Experience teaching IB or A Level Science.

(Desirable) Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programmes.
