ROLE SUMMARY:
Kensington School is seeking a professional and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis (sustitución) until approximately the end of the year.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and parents, managing the front desk, calls, enquiries, and general email account
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, including visitor sign-in and badge management
- Support staff attendance systems (Sign In app, lanyards, QR codes, etc.)
- Assist the Administration team with day-to-day tasks and general administrative processes across the school
- Support administrative processes related to trips, excursions, and onboarding of new staff
- Assist with the preparation of the weekly school newsletter and general communications
- Manage ordering and replenishment of school supplies, maintaining accurate records and supporting budget control processes
- Assist with travel arrangements and event coordination (e.g. conferences, training)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (school experience desirable)
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and school systems (e.g. iSAMS)
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
