ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students, deliver high-quality lessons, and contribute to the continued success of our academic programmes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and the wider school to foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Psychology to secondary students, including IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent) classes.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that promote active learning and academic curiosity.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, and independent thinking.
- Support the personal and academic development of students through effective pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practices, and contribute to departmental planning.
- Participate in whole-school initiatives and ongoing professional development.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree desirable).

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Psychology at IGCSE, A Level, or IB Diploma level.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

A commitment to maintaining high academic standards and promoting student well-being.
