ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students, deliver high-quality lessons, and contribute to the continued success of our academic programmes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and the wider school to foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach Psychology to secondary students, including IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent) classes.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that promote active learning and academic curiosity.
Assess, record, and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusion, and independent thinking.
Support the personal and academic development of students through effective pastoral care.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practices, and contribute to departmental planning.
Participate in whole-school initiatives and ongoing professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree desirable).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Psychology at IGCSE, A Level, or IB Diploma level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to maintaining high academic standards and promoting student well-being.
