ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School, La Moraleja is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join the Primary School on a long-term temporary basis from February 2026. The successful candidate will support high-quality teaching and help create a positive, engaging learning environment where all pupils can succeed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.

Assist with preparation of activities, resources, and classroom organisation.

Provide individual or small-group support to pupils, including differentiated learning.

Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and maintaining records where required.

Promote positive behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing in line with school policies.

Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, assemblies, and transitions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (Primary preferred).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High level of English.

A caring, supportive approach with a commitment to pupil wellbeing.

Ability to follow guidance while using initiative when appropriate.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct expectations.
