ROLE SUMMARY:
Kensington School, part of Inspired Education, is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Cover Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed educator who enjoys working across different year groups and can provide high-quality teaching and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Primary age range.
- Follow and implement existing lesson plans and curriculum objectives.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to support different abilities and learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community.
- Provide appropriate feedback to the relevant class teacher following cover lessons
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Qualified teacher status or recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching in a Primary setting.
- Experience with, or a strong understanding of, the British curriculum.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative and positive approach to working with colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
