ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College, Soto de Viñuelas, a leading British international school in Madrid, is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Cover Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover across Years 1–6, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach and supervise classes from Year 1 to Year 6 during staff absence.
Deliver planned lessons and adapt materials when needed.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
Support pupils’ academic and personal development in line with school values.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions and continuity.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong classroom management and ability to adapt quickly.
Experience in Primary education, ideally across multiple year groups.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
