ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College Soto de Viñuelas is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified PE Teacher to join our school on a temporary basis to cover a leave of absence starting after Summer 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons across the school, inspiring students to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity. The teacher will contribute positively to both the academic and pastoral life of the school, as well as to extracurricular activities and sporting events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach PE across a range of age groups and abilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons
- Support and monitor student progress and participation
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events
- Promote student wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Relevant teaching qualification and recognised degree
- Experience teaching PE in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative approach
- Passion for sport, physical education, and student development
