ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College La Moraleja is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the EYFS Leader to deliver high-quality learning experiences, helping young children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. You will foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, supporting all pupils to become confident, independent learners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.

Support children’s emotional security, self-belief, and social development.

Build strong professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

Promote inclusion and participation in all learning and extracurricular activities.

Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.

Monitor, record, and report pupil progress, using assessment to support learning.

Line manage and support Educators within the Nursery classroom.

Contribute to whole-school development and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, ensuring the wellbeing of all students
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree and Qualified Teacher Status or Early Years Teacher/Professional Status.
- Have strong knowledge and experience of the EYFS Framework.
- Demonstrate experience delivering high-quality early years education.
- Be enthusiastic, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote inclusion and support the development of independent learners.
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
- Be committed to continuous professional development
