ROLE SUMMARY:

Colegio San Patricio El Soto, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking to appoint an outstanding MYP English Teacher to join our Secondary team from late August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach English within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
Plan, deliver and assess engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons that inspire high levels of student achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, creativity and collaboration.
Monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
Contribute to the academic and pastoral life of the school.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and the continuous enhancement of teaching and learning.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in English, English Literature or a related discipline.
Experience teaching English in Secondary education.
Experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and student-centred teaching approaches.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.
Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
Excellent written and spoken English.
