ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team immediately. Working under the guidance of the Learning Support Leader, you will support high-quality teaching and learning, help raise pupil achievement, and promote independence and inclusion for all learners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support pupils, staff and curriculum delivery across the school.
Assist with planning, assessment, and monitoring of pupil progress.
Deliver targeted interventions, including teaching the Read Write Inc. phonics programme.
Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in line with school policies.
Support pupils with additional needs, including personal care where required.
Maintain strong relationships with staff, pupils and families.
Contribute to whole-school development, attend meetings and undertake lunch/siesta duties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Experience supporting primary-aged pupils (including SEND).
Strong understanding of phonics (Read Write Inc. experience desirable).
Effective behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive, flexible and professional approach.
