ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s Infant Chamartin is seeking an outstanding Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Key Stage Leader to deliver high-quality teaching, ensuring strong academic progress, emotional security and independence for all pupils.
There is potential to take on a whole-school core subject leadership role (EYFS & KS1), with responsibility allowance. QTS is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons in line with the English, Welsh or Scottish curriculum.

Teach phonics using Read Write Inc.

Differentiate effectively to support SEND, EAL and high-attaining pupils.

Contribute to subject development and, where applicable, lead a core subject across EYFS and KS1.

Uphold high standards of safeguarding, behaviour and professional conduct.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Proven KS1 teaching experience.

Strong curriculum knowledge and commitment to high standards.

Experience or interest in middle leadership.

A collaborative, reflective and child-centred approach.
