ROLE SUMMARY:
The International Student Recruitment Officer – Europe (Russian-speaking) is a revenue-owning role responsible for delivering annual enrolment and revenue targets across Europe and key international markets globally.
This individual will build, manage, and convert a high-quality pipeline, with full accountability from market development through to enrolment delivery. It is a front-line recruitment role requiring pace, ownership, and strong execution.
Based in Europe, the role works closely with the Global Head of International Recruitment and wider teams to expand the organisation’s global footprint. While the geographic scope is broad, Russian language capability is strongly preferred to support growth in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, in line with current priorities and future expansion.
Growing visa restrictions in some non-European markets make expanding recruitment within Europe a strategic priority. At the same time, Central Asian markets (including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia) are demonstrating increasing demand, alongside more established markets such as Kazakhstan. Russian language skills will play a key role in unlocking these opportunities.
Success in this position requires a strong understanding of boarding and day school admissions processes, as well as academic programmes such as IB and A Levels.
There is flexibility around where this role can be based from. It must be based inside Europe and also within a country that Inspired Education already operates - Belgium, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, UK.
Core Accountability
- Own and deliver a defined annual enrolment target across Europe and international markets
- Build and manage a robust, trackable pipeline across B2B and B2C channels
- Drive conversion performance at every stage of the funnel
- Take ownership of regional and international execution, performance tracking, and outcomes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, manage, and continuously optimise a high-quality international recruitment pipeline
- Drive consistent conversion improvements across all stages, from lead through to enrolment
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Utilise CRM platforms and Student Management Systems to track student journeys, pipeline progression, and conversion activity
- Produce regular recruitment and performance reports for senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and conversion metrics
- Identify, onboard, and develop high-performing agency partners across Europe and globally
- Manage agent performance through clear targets and accountability
- Leverage Russian language skills to strengthen engagement with partners in Eastern Europe and Central Asia where relevant
- Own and grow direct student recruitment channels globally
- Engage with families through consultations, fairs, and events (online and in-person)
- Support growth strategy across Europe and selected global markets
- Contribute to expansion in Eastern Europe and emerging Central Asian markets
- Work closely with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to align offering with market needs
- Develop deep knowledge of the organisation’s portfolio (Boarding, Day Schools, Camps, etc.)
- Ensure recruitment activity aligns with overall business objectives
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in hospitality, PR, customer service, or client-facing commercial roles (B2C and/or B2B)
- Experience in international student recruitment, sales, or business development is advantageous but not essential
- Proven track record of achieving enrolment or revenue targets
- Strong pipeline management and conversion optimisation experience
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively
- Experience managing agents or partners in a performance-driven environment
- Fluency in English required; Russian strongly preferred
- Based in Europe, with strong understanding of international education markets
- Highly proactive, data-driven, and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel internationally
