ROLE SUMMARY:

Colegio San Patricio El Soto, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking to appoint an outstanding IBDP Economics Teacher to join our Secondary team from late August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach Economics within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Plan, deliver and assess engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons that promote outstanding student achievement.
Foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry, discussion and independent learning.
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Contribute to the wider academic and pastoral life of the school.
Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and continuous improvement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in Economics or a closely related discipline.
Proven experience teaching Economics at IBDP level.
A thorough understanding of the IB philosophy and assessment requirements.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.
Strong classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
Excellent written and spoken English.
