ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, a leading British international school in Spain, is seeking an experienced and dynamic IB Diploma Programme Coordinator to join the Senior School from late August 2026. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery and development of the IBDP, while also teaching Business, Economics, or a Science subject, depending on expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and coordinate the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) across the school.

Ensure high-quality teaching, assessment, and compliance with IB standards and practices.

Support and guide teachers delivering IB courses, fostering collaboration and professional development.

Monitor student progress and academic outcomes, maintaining the school’s high standards of achievement.

Teach IBDP and/or Senior School classes in Business, Economics, or a Science subject.

Work closely with senior leadership on curriculum development and university preparation for students.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).

Experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme, ideally in Business, Economics, or Sciences.

Previous experience in IB coordination or academic leadership (preferred).

Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

A commitment to high academic standards and student success in an international school environment.
