ROLE SUMMARY:

Colegio San Patricio El Soto is seeking a qualified IB English Teacher to join its academic team on a full-time basis for the 2026/27 school year.

The role is part of a high-performing international school environment, committed to academic excellence, strong pastoral care, and a well-structured IB learning experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach English within the IB programme (DP level)
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB standards
Prepare students for internal and external IB assessments
Develop students’ analytical, literary, and communication skills
Collaborate with colleagues across departments and contribute to school initiatives
Support students’ academic and personal development

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in English Philology, English Studies, Education, or related field
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Previous experience with the IB Diploma Programme is highly valued
High level of English (native or near-native proficiency)
Master’s in Teacher Training (Máster de Formación del Profesorado or equivalent)
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
