ROLE SUMMARY:

Kensington School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join our secondary team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students in a dynamic international environment, delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and related disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Humanities lessons across secondary levels
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress and inclusion
Monitor and assess student achievement, providing clear and constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department
Support students’ academic and personal development as a form tutor
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (IGCSE and/or IB desirable)
Strong classroom management and a passion for student-centred learning
The ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students of diverse backgrounds
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A commitment to continuous professional development and school life
