ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Kensington School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join our secondary team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students in a dynamic international environment, delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and related disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Humanities lessons across secondary levels
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress and inclusion
  • Monitor and assess student achievement, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department
  • Support students’ academic and personal development as a form tutor
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (IGCSE and/or IB desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and a passion for student-centred learning
  • The ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students of diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and school life
