ROLE SUMMARY:
An established international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Teacher to join its dynamic team from late August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to teach French across Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) and up to and including iGCSE level within a supportive, high-performing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach French to UKS2 pupils and iGCSE classes, ensuring high academic standards.

Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.

Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Contribute to curriculum development within the Modern Foreign Languages department.

Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ pastoral and academic development.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching French to UKS2 and/or iGCSE level.

Previous experience in an international or bilingual school setting is advantageous.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
