ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Kensington School in Madrid is seeking a talented and passionate English & Literature Teacher to join its Secondary and IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international school with a strong academic reputation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teach English & Literature across Secondary, including IBDP.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Prepare students for external examinations and IB assessments.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
  • Contribute to pastoral care and the wider school community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and academic initiatives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching English & Literature at Secondary level.
  • Experience with or strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and well-being.
