ROLE SUMMARY:

 

El Colegio Británico is seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team. You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, nurture students’ development, and support them in becoming confident, globally-minded individuals. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, international British school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teach EYFS following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Act as a form tutor, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

  • Uphold the school’s standards for academic excellence and pastoral care.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 3 years recent EYFS teaching experience in UK, international, or bilingual schools.

  • Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.

  • Excellent English language skills (C2 or equivalent) and B2 Spanish (or willingness to develop).

  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and collaborative skills.
