ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team on a maternity cover contract from January 2027. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, child-centred learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity and independence, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework and school curriculum.
Create a safe, caring and stimulating classroom environment that supports all areas of child development.Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future learning.
Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of all pupils and support inclusive educational practices.
Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and leaders to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
