ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Kensington School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS4, KS5 and IB programmes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic science department committed to academic excellence and student success. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Teach Chemistry across KS4, KS5 and IB, delivering high-quality and well-structured lessons.

  • Prepare students effectively for external examinations and internal assessments.

  • Support students in developing strong analytical, practical and independent learning skills.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the science department.

  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and support student achievement

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related subject and QTS (highly desirable).

  • Experience teaching Chemistry at KS4 and KS5; IB experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice.

  • A commitment to high academic standards and student engagement.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
