ROLE SUMMARY:

As we embark on a journey of unprecedented growth, we're seeking a Talent Specialist to join our newly formed team. Reporting to the UK Talent Manager, you'll support hiring across our online schools: Kings InterHigh and Academy21. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, school leaders, and the wider HR and Talent teams to recruit both academic and non-academic staff. Your role will be pivotal in building and managing a talent pool of teachers, and ensuring the continued success of our expansion strategy. This is a full time permanent position and is fully remote. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition

  • Work closely with the Talent team and Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs and support the end-to-end hiring process.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of academic and non-academic staff across Inspired’s Online Schools, Kings Interhigh and Academy 21.
  • Support in the coordination of supply teacher recruitment where needed.
  • With support from the talent manager, assist with talent planning and internal mobility across the group
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of active candidates for current and future roles.
  • Schedule interviews and help manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience.
  • Partner closely with HRBPs, safeguarding leads, payroll, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and hiring outcomes.
  • Support with wider UK Recruitment efforts e.g Head Office Recruitment

 

Employer Branding and Candidate Generation

  • Post vacancies and proactively source candidates via direct channels including job boards, social media, job fairs, employee referrals and recruitment partners
  • Support with elevating the Inspired brand
  • Represent the Inspired brand and provide a quality service to prospective candidates.
  • Assist with the coordination of recruitment events such as job fairs and virtual open days.Quality of Hire
  • Qualify candidates based on Inspired talent standards, ensuring a rigorous selection process.
  • Support with up-skilling recruitment capability of Academic Leaders and HR teams through coaching and training.
  • Support diversity & inclusion initiatives and embed them in our talent proposition.

 

System & Data Management

  • Use the ATS (Success Factors) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Update Success Factors applicant tracking system in real-time with accuracy & integrity.
  • Help with producing regular recruitment reports and metrics to inform recruitment activity.

Skills & Experience

  • At least two years recruitment experience within an in-house recruitment model. Candidates from an agency background are welcome and must demonstrate their capability to work on broader talent projects/tasks.
  • Success in competitive markets with a track record of developing and executing recruitment plans.
  • Proficiency with talent acquisition technologies (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc)
  • Experience hiring for head office/commercial roles would be advantageous
