We are looking for a motivated Marketing Event Coordinator with experience of event management and promotion. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented events’ professional to coordinate our busy annual event calendar. This role will focus on event planning, preparation and promotion for the Inspired Online Schools, ensuring all event participation and promotion opportunities are maximized, brand presence is on point and all staffing and logistical aspects are executed within agreed deadlines. In addition, the role includes support for wider marketing campaigns, digital event production, and analysis and reporting of event performance metrics.
The successful candidate must be flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed time frames and have the proven ability to assist in overseeing events with a hands-on and practical approach. While this is a remote role, it will involve occasional travel and on-site event work in support of the sales team across England and Wales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate King’s InterHigh and Academy21’s participation at education sector events (UK & International), overseeing end-to-end event logistics including planning, promotion, execution and post-event analysis
Build and maintain relationships with event organisers and partner organisations, negotiate value-add package elements and seek opportunities for maximum brand visibility, thought leadership and collaborations.
Ensure all elements of event sponsorship packages are fully utilized with exhibitor listings, email copy, social media, videography, collateral and digital profiles and any other elements, produced to a high standard, on-brand and on-time
Assess event relevancy and impact and make recommendations for new events to be included in the annual event calendar, with due consideration to business objectives
Ensure stand designs, signage, collateral and give away items are on brand, messaging is adapted when necessary and aligned to each event’s requirements
Produce in-house digital events, from conception to completion, coordinating all aspects of set up, promotion and delivery, this includes working with speakers and post-event analysis
Monitor event performance and ROI, report on lead generation and event impact metrics as agreed and support budget administration, including invoice and expenditure reporting
Attend some of the UK-based events throughout the year to provide support to sales colleagues, coordinate logistics on the ground and assess the performance of the event.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualifications: Educated to level 4 or above with event marketing experience, ideally in a b2b environment. Relevant degree or professional qualifications in marketing, events or project management are highly desirable. Experience across different event types and sizes and/or within the education sector is beneficial
Organisational Skills: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accurately coordinating competing projects with attention to detail
Creativity & Initiative: A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and capacity to deliver impactful events. Competencies in copy writing, Click-up, WordPress, Canva, or similar, and a passion for visual identity are desirable
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for drafting event briefs, liaising with stakeholders, and supporting social media and digital content
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including suppliers, event organisers, and across functions within the schools. Experience of remote working and proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite is beneficial
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on varied tasks to support events and marketing goals, with occasional on-site event work
Interests: An interest in and / or understanding of the education sector and/or alternative provision is an advantage
